    Neodymium doped YVO4

    Nd:YVO4 crystal is an excellent laser host crystal, suitable for the production of laser diode (LD) pumped solid-state lasers. The crystal having the following characteristics: laser threshold and high slope efficiency, stimulated emission cross section, high absorption coefficient and a wide absorption bandwidth of pump light. The latest developments show that Nd: the YVO 4 crystal and KTP crystal combination, do sake of the solid-state micro green, red and blue laser.

    Now Nd: YVO 4 laser is widely used in machinery, material processing, spectroscopy, wafer inspection, monitor, medical testing, laser printing, data storage and other fields. And Nd: YVO 4 diode-pumped solid-state lasers are rapidly replacing traditional water-cooled ion laser and lamp-pumped laser market, especially in small and single-longitudinal-mode output:

    Advantages compared to Nd: YAG
