    YVOSingle crystal

    YVO4 single crystal a excellent birefringence optical crystal developed recent years, it has good translucent under visible and near-infrared wide-band range, has larger refractive index value and differential birefringence. Compared with other important birefringent crystal, YVO 4 crystal is harder than Iceland spar (CaCO 3 single crystal), has good machining properties, insoluble in water, and can artificial growth (Iceland spar rely on natural resources); YVO 4 crystal is easier to grow a large piece of high-quality crystal than rutile (the TiO 2 single crystal), and the price is much lower than rutile. These excellent features make YVO 4 crystal quickly become the new type of birefringent optical materials, widely used in optoelectronics industry. Fiber-optic communications equipment requires a lot of pure YVO 4 crystal to manufacture various spectral polarization components, such as optical isolators, circulators, beam splitter, and Glan polarizer. YVO 4 crystal with rutile crystal combination, can get ideal temperature compensation effect, greatly improving the temperature stability of optical communication systems.
